Rebuilding Your Smile

Restorative Dentistry That Looks and Feels Natural

When teeth are damaged or missing, it affects more than just your smile; it affects your health and your confidence. We combine clinical precision with artistic detail to rebuild your bite and restore your smile’s natural beauty.

What We Offer

Comprehensive Restorative Solutions

Dental Crowns

We provide custom-fabricated porcelain crowns that encase the compromised tooth to restore its original shape, strength, and appearance. By utilizing high-resolution digital imaging, Dr. Wengrover ensures your crown fits perfectly within your bite, protecting your long-term oral health.

Bridges & Tooth Replacement

For patients missing one or more teeth, our durable dental bridges anchor to adjacent healthy teeth to "bridge" the gap. This type of restoration prevents your surrounding teeth from shifting and maintains the natural contours of your face while replacing the tooth that was missing.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

We use advanced composite resin to repair decay invisibly, preserving more of your natural tooth structure than traditional metal fillings. These restorations bond directly to your enamel for a strong and natural aesthetic result.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

For complex cases involving multiple missing or worn teeth, we create a phased, comprehensive plan. By combining various restorative techniques, we can completely rebuild the function and aesthetics of your entire mouth.

Who Is Restorative Dentistry For?

Restorative Dentistry is for any patient with decay, visible wear, and any teeth that are non-restorable. Our focus is always on restorations that are built to last, because the best outcome is one that keeps you out of the dental chair and enjoying your smile for years to come.

Why US?

Common Questions

FAQs About Restorative Dentistry

No, Dr. Wengrover uses a very detail oriented approach to function, shape and shade matching. This ensures that the restoration feels and looks natural, fitting into your smile seamlessly.
Depending on the extent of the decay, we may suggest a different type of restoration, such as an inlay or onlay. These are "partial crowns" that allow us to be more conservative, keeping your healthy tooth structure intact while providing more strength than a standard filling.

In health, a high quality dental restoration should last between 10-15 years. To maximize the lifespan of your restoration, we recommend maintaining excellent oral hygiene, attending regular professional cleanings in our Northern Westchester office, and wearing a nightguard if recommended by Dr. Wengrover.

Your comfort is our primary concern. We use advanced local anesthetics and precise techniques to ensure that procedures like fillings, crowns, and bridges are painless. It is normal to feel only minor pressure during the treatment, and minimal sensitivity for about 24-48 hours prior to the procedure as the tooth and surrounding tissue heals.

Not necessarily. Dr. Wengrover follows the philosophy of preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible. If a cavity is too large for a filling but doesn't require a full crown, we may recommend an inlay or onlay. These "partial crowns" allow us to strengthen and protect your tooth while keeping more of your healthy, natural enamel intact.
